At the beginning of the year, and coincidentally (or not), the beginning of this millennium, I traveled with my stalwart companion, Jean Lafitte, to some parts of the amazing Florida wilderness. We spent considerable time in the Everglades, and also visited the Ocala National Forest and the space coast. These poems are the fruit of that expedition. The epic Everglades is the centerpiece, presented as an interactive poem. S.L. 2000 |
